Obligatory Spoilers.
At least, now, there’s one thing good that came out of Sunday night’s otherwise disastrous The Walking Dead season finale , which saw Negan lower his bat, Lucille, on an unspecified character before the screen went black, leaving us in limbo about the identity of Negan’s victim. That one thing? This tweet.
First, a little context: Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn on The Walking Dead, is originally from near Detroit, Michigan. His team, the Detroit Red Wings, is battling it out for two of the three spots remaining for the NHL playoffs. One of those other teams are the Flyers, who hail from Philadelphia, also known as the worst sports town in America.
Last night, the Flyers and Red Wings faced off, and Yeun expressed support for his team on Twitter.

This is how the official Philadelphia Flyers Twitter account responded:

Ooof.

Even Yeun had to recognize the savagery of that tweet.
game recognize game.

The Walking Dead twitter account also acknowledged the greatness of the Tweet, and included the follow-up tweets between the Flyers and Yeun.

At the end of the day, however, it was Yeun who got the last laugh:
