TK will have a review of the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for you tomorrow, but I thought it might be fun to see where the cast got their start in moving pictures. You don’t just start out as Spider-Man, you know.
Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) - Boy A (2007) “Jack Burridge”
Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) - Superbad (2007) “Jules”
Jamie Foxx (Max Dillon/Electro) - The Truth About Cats and Dogs (1996) “Ed”
Dane Dehaan (Harry Osborn) - Amigo (2010) “Gil”
I didn’t count his role as “Boy On Bike” in an earlier film. Apologies.
Colm Feore (Donald Menken) - A Nest of Singing Birds - (1987) “Michael Jimson”
This film doesn’t even have a trailer that I could find. The film is about two college professors falling in love.
Felicity Jones (Felicia) - Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) “Young Ruth”
Paul Giamatti (Aleksei Sytsevich) - Past Midnight (1991) “Larry Canipe”
Sally Field (Aunt May) - The Way West (1967) “Mercy McBee”
Embeth Davidtz (Mary Parker) - Mutator (1989) “Jennifer”
This one doesn’t have a trailer either, but if you Google ‘Mutator 1989’, you can watch the entire movie online. It concerns a beast getting loose in a lab and murdering people.
Campbell Scott (Richard Parker) - Five Corners (1987) “Policeman”
