From Hollywood to Texas, from Washington to every Trump tower, Americans were acting like all kinds of assholes this week.
—Hollywood residents are reportedly favoring not-hot nannies to keep husbands faithful. Andy Richter feels us on this. (NYT)
What a load of sexist shit. Instead, how about celeb dads just don't fuck their children's caretakers? https://t.co/qawnPRURh9

—Trump supporters circled and beat up a black protester for shouting “Black Lives Matter.” The assaulted protester, Mercutio Southall Jr., says his attackers called him “monkey” and the N-word as they shoved him to the ground, punched and kicked him. As Southall was dragged out by security, Trump’s minions chanted, “All lives matter.” That’ll learn ‘im! (Inquisitr)
—Trump defended his minions who assaulted a peaceful protester, saying, “Maybe he should have been roughed up, because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.” The protester is the disgusting one? Apparently Trump is the rubber to our glue. (Washington Post)
—And let’s not forget Trump casually suggested we make a database for Muslims. Asked how that’d be different from what the Nazis did with Jews, the aspiring statesman said, “You tell me.” It’s not, Donald. It’s not different. (NBC News)

—Jeb Bush only wants the US to take in Christian refugees because ‘Murica! Or War On Christmas? I lost track. (HuffPo)
—Islamophobic Texans have converged around a mosque with protest signs and lots of guns to “show force” and “Stop the Islamization of America.” Because Texas gun laws are bonkers, cops showed up to warn the Muslim families visiting their mosque to steer clear of the bigots none-too-subtly threatening their lives. (HuffPo)
That was a rough one, gang. Let’s all take a moment to enjoy something beautiful. Here’s a heart-growing-three-sizes sweet video of a father explaining the Paris terror attacks to his frightened son. You’ll need tissues for this line, “They have guns but we have flowers.”
