A reminder up top: we’re taking a few weeks off mostly due to someone going on a fancy trip or something, but we’ll be back next month with what Tori has deemed the start of season 7!
As for this week’s show: it was weirdly light on television if you go purely by the number of shows discussed, as we covered the end of our journey with Twin Peaks: The Return (verdict: Dustin loved it, don’t even worry about what he claims otherwise. Publisher’s Note: 👀). Dustin and Tori also watched the final season of The Umbrella Academy (verdict: overall still worth it, but why only six episodes?), and Dustin and Dan watched Peacock’s new post-Olympics comedy Mr. Throwback (verdict: pretty good, especially if you like Adam Pally and/or the stylings of some of the people who brought you Happy Endings, including David Caspe and the Libman brothers, plus Steph Curry is charming enough and down to look silly, which helps!).
Then, of course, it was time for the game we finally remembered to play, in which we all drafted our favorite TV opening credits! Help us decide who won (or perhaps even better, why Dustin lost).
