Is it possible that we’ve officially changed Dustin for the better?

Case in point: this week, he has officially declared that (after an episode, at least), he is enjoying Parasyte: The Grey (a new based on a manga Korean sci-fi/horror thriller on Netflix) more than their other big offering this week, Ripley!

In other words, Dustin has now, according to our highly unbiased read of the situation, embraced both Korean dramas and Japanese manga adaptations as his favorite genres. Which also means, by our calculations, he’s only like one step away from fully embracing animation! Stick with us as our journey to convince Dustin that animation is worth his time continues.

Elsewhere on the podcast this week: we had some other quick hits of TV, including the finale of Tokyo Vice and my reaching episode seven of The Umbrella Academy (still fun, mostly), before we got into the return of Elsbeth on CBS (it’s a very fun, watchable procedural, you really should get into it), the latest drama on Survivor (wait, two CBS shows, are we those people now?) and episode seven of Shogun.
