In the past 24 hours, I’ve learned that people are not aware that Alan Tudyk played the titular robot in I, Robot, which is very surprising because Alan Tudyk is always the robot. Anyway, the reason most people don’t know that Tudyk was in the film is because he was unceremoniously cut from all marketing and press for committing a cardinal sin: Scoring higher than Will Smith in the test screenings.
