You guys know me. I don’t pull my punches, so I’ll be fully transparent in saying that I was somewhat — heavy, heavy emphasis on somewhat — sympathetic to Howard Stern’s argument that a lot of the flak Jerry Seinfeld has been getting lately is “blatant antisemitism.” However, I’m also old enough to know that Seinfeld has been railing against ‘kids these days’ since “cancel culture” was still in its infancy, so he brings most of it on himself. Case in point: He recently told Bari Weiss that he misses “dominant masculinity” and pines for the days of real men like Sean Connery and Howard Cosell. Those were two of the names Seinfeld actually floated. Right hand to God. (Variety)

Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, anyone? (Lainey Gossip)

Jennifer Lopez’s Vegas residency might be getting canceled. (Celebitchy)

The Texas GOP has discovered the most pro-life position of all: Execute the abortion patients. (Wonkette)

Petr couldn’t stand or finish the first season of The Rings of Power, but he did share some stuff about Season 2 that should make Tom Bombadil-heads very happy. (Vanity Fair)

Vivek Ramaswamy can’t even dunk on Buzzfeed right. (The Verge)

Everything about this Mamie Laverock story is freaking insane. Where the hell is this walkway that she was being escorted by hospital personnel and then, somehow, fell five stories? Why would you even have a walkway like that — in a hospital?! (PEOPLE)

I cannot justify dropping $500 on Lord of the Rings Legos, but I’ll be goddamned if this $300 Legend of Zelda set isn’t priced right in the stupid sweet spot where Mike does something stupid. (Polygon)

Every night we watch a family show together, and right now, we’re working our way through Once Upon a Time, which I’ve never seen before. I unabashedly love it and cannot fathom how Bill Willingham didn’t sue the pants off ABC for ripping off Fables. Anyway, Lana Parrilla is in the new Jennifer Lopez movie on Netflix and opened up about how living out of her car still affects her to this day. Sometimes the links are just for me. — OK, most of them are. Be gone! (The Wrap)

Andrew Scott has joined Knives Out 3, which just got 800 times more horny. (THR)

Nicki Minaj is out here telling people she was “dear friends” with Princess Diana. The same Princess Diana who died in 1997 when Minaj was only 14, so all the math checks out here. No need to dig any deeper, folks. (Page Six)

From Kayleigh: Ziff Davis Creative Guild is fighting for fair wages and a say in how AI is used in our workplace. (Action Network)

After loving Fonda Lee’s “sprawling” Green Bone Saga, esme snapped up the fantasy novella, Untethered Sky. “I didn’t read the blurb on this book, so when it opens with Ester seeing Zahra for the first time — a fledgling taken from her rocky home to be trained to kill manticores — it took my breath away.” Which books have the best openings?
