Folks, I’m going to be upfront with you. I don’t watch the Food Network, so I’m not familiar with Anne Burrell. What I am familiar with, however, is the pop culture zeitgeist, and let me tell you this news hit like a meteor. Just a collective gasp and proclamations of “Oh no,” which speak to Anne’s impact on the world. She clearly brought joy and comfort to millions, and I hope her family and friends find peace in knowing that her life touched so many. Rest in Peace. (PEOPLE)
