Thank you for your very nice birthday wishes! Mike, in his advanced age, forgot to mention that it was also HIS birthday yesterday! I hope he had a most lovely day. And happy birthday today to longtime Pajiba Eloquent Lauren_Lauren, who tragically only has a birthday every 4 years but tries to horn in on mine every single year even though she can literally decide to use March 1st as her birthdate and not my birthdate, but she won’t do that because she’s Canadian just awful contrary.

Surprise, You Might Be Canadian And Not Even Know It! (Hmmm, maybe I should be nicer to Lauren_Lauren… we might be twins, separated at birth!) - (Wonkette)
Mark Ruffalo, Jack White, Carrie Coon, and many others have much to say about the U.S. attacks on Iran. Celebrities, they’re just like us! - (Variety Australia)

Why are so many women getting ADHD diagnoses in midlife? Spoiler: It’s perimenopause. It’s why I finally got diagnosed. I thought I was losing my damn mind or had early-onset dementia. - (The Cut)
Kelly Osbourne joined her mother, Sharon, at the BRIT Awards yesterday. There were a lot of people who expressed genuine concern over her appearance, as well as those who made very rude comments about her extreme weight loss. -(EW)
After hearing Cillian Murphy recommend John McGahern, ashvader picked up his Amongst Women. “There is just something so compelling about reading stories on everyday people living their lives, with all the undercurrents slowly being revealed to the reader.” Is there an actor whose book recommendations you trust? (Cannonball Read 18)
