It Wasn't You, Katee Sackhoff, It Was the Writing

I’m on the record as saying The Mandalorian Season 3 is a honking turd. Lucasfilm ran their golden goose into the ground hard enough to stop making episodes, but not hard enough to think a movie won’t fix everything. Anyway, I’m also on the record as saying Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan was easily the highlight of the season, particularly in the second episode and the dogfight in the opening minutes of the third. She was f*cking great! So, I was sad to read that Sackhoff never felt like she found the character, which “broke” her to the point that she stopped acting for three years. I doubt she’s reading this, but if she is, Katee, that season was a mess for reasons entirely out of your control. Those clowns gave you nothing to work with in the back half, but you still sold that sh*t like a pro. Hold that head high. (THR)
