Believe it or not, I have friends in real life, and I was surprised to learn that their young kids have been looking forward to Supergirl more than The Mandalorian & Grogu. Krypto is apparently a huge draw, but clearly, that’s anecdotal because as of right now, Milly Alcock’s hero is looking at a rough box office weekend when it opens later this month. However, there’s a light at the end of tunnel: Presales, which just started yesterday have not been factored in, and the movie looks fun as hell. (Deadline)

Malin, an early member of the Book Devouring Hoard (ifykyk), is thrilled that new readers are finding Ilona Andrews with their ambitious new fantasy, This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me. “Re-reading the book also allowed me to see how cleverly the authors had sprinkled hints and clues throughout the story, so that while there were several excellent plot twists along the way…they are, in fact, honestly foreshadowed.” Have you read any of Ilona Andrews’s books?
