After being plagued by scandal and several serious accusations from FKA Twigs, Shia LaBeouf has converted to Catholicism. He made the switch while preparing for his upcoming film, Padre Pio, because, yes, Shia is still working steadily. ¿Qué es cancelar la cultura? As for why I’m not championing someone seeking self-improvement through spiritual enlightenment: 1. Mel Gibson. 2. The entire history of the Catholic Church. (NY Post)

On a possibly related note, Shia is also pushing back on the narrative that Olivia Wilde fired him from Don’t Worry Darling. Your mileage may vary on all of this, but in my dumbass opinion, it seems like Olivia and the studio did Shia a solid by giving him the option to walk away instead of being canned.(Looper)
