My Pajiba loves! Oh, how I’ve missed you! I was on vacation (although, if you’re visiting family in Ohio, can you really call that a vacation?) and then I got COVID, so it’s been a lot of fun. I can’t taste anything, but other than that, I’m mostly fine. How have all of you been? Tell me EVERYTHING!
You guys, I think Zach Bryan might be kind of a jerk. I mean, it’s possible Gavin Adcock is too — I don’t know anything about him— but Bryan just keeps showing his ass. - (PEOPLE)
Also a jerk? Nancy Mace, but you probably already knew that! This time she was a jerk at Congresswoman Sara Jacobs (who, side note: I knew when she was just a wee little girl! How fun! I mean, for me, not for any of you, but for me it’s fun because my life is very boring.) Mace’s jab at the end could be seen as a snotty personal appearance remark, or could definitely, knowing MAGA, be a dog whistle antisemitic insult. - (HuffPo)
While we’re talking about jerks: Fox and Friends jerk Brian Kilmeade had to apologize for his unbelievably callous and cruel comment last week. Live, on-air, Kilmeade opined that “mentally ill homeless people” should just get “involuntary lethal injection or something. Just kill them.” - (Deadline)

Trump Admin Lied to ‘NYT’ About Torching $10 Million in Birth Control. On Friday afternoon, Belgian authorities told the paper the stockpile was still in its warehouse. - (Jezebel)
Hey, that’s some good news! SAG-AFTRA Finally Establishes Fran Drescher’s “Robin Hood Fund,” which includes provisions for background actors, stunt riggers, and stand-ins. - (THR)
Oh wow, look at you, Rhode Island! Rhode Island Becomes First State to Mandate Workplace Accommodations for Menopause - (SM)
Penske Media, the publisher of Rolling Stone, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and others, has filed an antitrust lawsuit over Google’s AI summaries, alleging that the AI summaries on Google search harm its business. - (AVC)
Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are both single again. - (EW)
Also single Dakota Johnson is wearing a thing. - (GFY)
For Christian Siriano’s Spring 2026 collection for New York Fashion Week, he said he drew inspiration from actor Marlene Dietrich and how she played with both feminine and masculine styles. - (AP)
Fiat.Luxury’s kids gave Rumer Godden’s The Dragon of Og two thumbs up. “Although the tropes might seem a little well-worn—monster who is actually kind and gentle; classy woman has to use her wits to outsmart her oaf of a husband; etc.—the jaunty pace of the story and the well-written characters keep it moving right along, and it never felt tired.” What is your favorite short fantasy read? (Cannonball Read 17)
It’s been nearly a week and many of you have probably already heard— it’s probably been discussed in the comments somewhere— but my heart broke when I read that Maru died. He was 18, and I knew that it was likely only a matter of time, and yet, it still caught me off guard somehow. That chonky boi never seemed to age. Watching a cat in Japan attempt to fit into small boxes for 17 years sounds crazy when you say it out loud… and yet, here we are. I will miss him.
(And for the doggo lovers - I gotchu, too!)
Yay, Seiko!
This is Seiko. He was just adopted. Now that he finally has a human of his very own, he's never letting go. 14/10 (TT: seikotherescue)
