During Thursday morning’s episode of The View, Ana Navarro brought the show to a screeching halt during a discussion on Hunter Biden. Navarro said, “Look, did Hunter Biden influence peddle on his last name? Yes, he did. So did half of Washington. People sitting at this table did it!” After Alyssa Farah Griffin timidly asked who Navarro was referring to, she responded, “I’m not talking about currently,” and well, you can guess who she meant. But in case you couldn’t, don’t worry, Meghan McCain is now making it very obvious. Less than an hour after the episode aired, McCain took to Twitter and accused her former co-hosts of being “defamatory and slanderous” before threatening legal action. McCain also said, “I would never and have never ‘influenced peddled’ in my life.” That’s an insanely bold claim for a woman whose trademark move was to slam the table before shoving her whole face into Joy Behar’s ear canal and shrieking, “MY FATHER IS JOHN MCCAIN.” On a related note, if you ever wondered if the concerning amount of Meghan posts I used to write were a cry for help, haha yeah, big time. Hold me. (Mediaite)
