Barely over a week ago, Kanye West went on yet another antisemitic rant on stage where he complained about “Zionist schools” run by Jews, and once again, invoked Hitler. He would now like everyone to know that his rant was “unplanned” and he’s seriously “committed” to making sure it never happens again. He apologized to the Jewish community by writing his statement in Hebrew, which Rolling Stone writer E.J. Dickson notes is barely spoken by Jews outside of Israel, so we’re off to a great start here. Things are really going to change for Kanye this time, I can feel it. (NBC News)

Murderbot is one of ingres77’s favorite characters ever, even though the plots and the human characters of the first 5 installments of Martha Wells’ series blend together in his memory. “Overall, the joy of the story comes in how Murderbot basically doesn’t want to be doing anything it’s required to do while being hyper-aware of how little everyone wants to be around it, and instead wants to just watch soap operas.” Which books do you read because you love the main character?
