Yeah … Ok, so I’m trying to not drown in misery every day and not read every single article about all the bad, but, man, it’s hard when everything is bad! I admit, I’ve had to take a break on socials and even news, and even some of the informative Substacks. I’m turning into a very bitter, angry person. Some of you will say, “Oh, Lainey! You can’t fool us; you’ve always been a bitter, angry person!” Fair! Ok, fine — MORE BITTERER! Super bitterest. Mega Ultra EXTRA BITTER. And then I go buy a bunch of spices at Penzeys to donate (yes, I know money goes further; we also do that), and reading through all of their spice mixes makes me feel a little better, a little more myself.
