Jon Stewart absolutely grilled my home state’s Senator John Fetterman last week, and now, The Daily Show host is having some regrets about the whole thing. Specifically, Stewart acknowledged Fetterman’s stroke and whether the “long form” nature of The Weekly Show podcast was fair to him. It’s a generous thought for Stewart to have, but he really shouldn’t lose sleep over it. Fetterman sucked before the stroke, and he sucks even more now. Case in point: He refuses to campaign against Republican Senator Dave McCormick because they’re “friends.” It should have been Conor Lamb, and the Maine debacle proved we didn’t learn from that mistake.
