When it comes to late night hosts ruthlessly roasting Republicans, Jimmy Kimmel has never held back. The guy has been relentless, and he even calls out chuckleheads like Aaron Rodgers. Kimmel isn’t out here tussling Trump’s hair or accepting White House dinners with Kid Rock, which is why it’s supremely depressing to see him blame the 2024 election on “cancel culture” and liberals “viciously attacking comedians.” Are you freaking kidding me right now? Are we really doing this sh*t again? To quote Roxana’s excellent question: Why are grotesquely wealthy comedians our thinnest skin group? (IndieWire)

One of NatalieH’s most anticipated books of the year is A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett, which has shades of Sherlock Holmes and Pacific Rim. “However, Bennett weaves together these seemingly discordant inspirations into something that’s completely unique and very entertaining.” Have you read any of Bennett’s fantasy mysteries?
