John Legend and Chrissy Teigen as potential Oscars hosts? Ok, this could be a lot of fun. - (Lainey)

Sandy Bullock’s idea is fun too. - (The Muse)

JFK Jr. was one of my first celebrity crushes and I remember how devastated I felt 20 years ago when he and his wife and her sister disappeared. I kept hoping they’d be found alive floating somewhere in the ocean. Hard to believe it’s been 20 years. - (Celebitchy)

You know what we haven’t had enough of? Rita Ora and her fashion. - (GFY)

Another week, another Facebook scandal. This time, we learn that Facebook was basically granting everyone who asked free rein to user data. This is the tip of the iceberg (NYTimes)

Facebook also allowed Spotify, Netflix and the Royal Bank of Canada to read, write and delete users’ private messages, and to see all participants on a thread — privileges that appeared to go beyond what the companies needed to integrate Facebook into their systems, the records show.

Honestly, it’s not like we didn’t expect it, but Facebook could have avoided all of this by simply stating upfront: “We will mine all of your data, and we will license or sell that data to anyone who offers us enough money.” Honest to God, it wouldn’t have made a difference to 90 percent of users, who already know that Facebook knows when their next bowel movement will be, down to the second. Again, it’s not the crime. It’s the coverup.

We already know that Twitter’s Jack Dorsey makes questionable decisions, but this one is a doozy. Jack. Jack, buddy. Jack, you don’t willingly give your hair to Azealia Banks for a protection spell and promise her something in return and then renege on your promise! What are you, stupid? - (Dlisted)

Disney/Pixar’s short film Bao is available to watch on YouTube for one week. Enjoy!

If you’re in the Philly airport and stressing about flying over the holidays, don’t fret! You can get an Emotional Support Chicken to fly with you. I mean, kind of. - (MyRecipes)

I had to double-check to make sure this wasn’t a memo that I wrote when I worked in the corporate world. - (McSweeney’s)

I had no idea Amber Stevens West was the daughter of Shadoe Stevens. Her chemistry with Damon Wayons Jr. is so good on Happy Together, which didn’t get officially canceled, but I don’t think got picked up for 2019. Bummer. - (Shadow and Act)

In many ways, The Burning Air by Erin Kelly reminded Bothari43 of Tana French. She enjoyed everything about the book until the very end. "I was all set to recommend this book wholeheartedly, but it falters in the last five pages or so, which is SO unfortunate." Which books have let you down at the very end? (Cannonball Read 10)

The comments indicate that this is normal horse behavior, but to me, it’s the funniest damn thing I’ve seen in days. YMMV. - (Bored Panda)

I leave you with my animal doppelgänger.
