Despite watching what happened with Jimmy Kimmel not even five seconds ago, Apple TV has decided it would be a great idea to yank the release of Jessica Chastain’s new series The Savant just days before its premiere. Why? Well, Chastain’s character “infiltrates online hate groups in an effort to stop large-scale attacks of domestic terrorism.” You can immediately guess who that will offend, so Apple went ahead and capitulated in advance by postponing the show until a “future date.” This sort of thing worked out so well for Disney.
