In a move that CMT claims it took before the social media backlash grew to a fevered pitch, the country music station has already stopped airing the video for Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” following pretty solid arguments that it’s “pro-lynching.” CMT reportedly made the decision on Monday, and Aldean has taken to social media to complain about the backlash by posting a nonsense word salad that means nothing.
