While the internet loves to pit James Gunn and Zack Snyder against each other, the two are actually friends. So much so that Gunn hit up Snyder while trying to figure out what the heck to do with Superman’s red trunks. Turns out, Snyder tried a “billion” ways to make it work with Henry Cavill’s suit, and Gunn was convinced that maybe the best route is to ditch them. David Corenswet had other thoughts. (Variety)
