Today I Learned we could have had a Nancy Meyers movie with Scarlett Johannson, but noooo, Netflix needed to save money after paying Adam Sandler $250M to make more movies with his friends. - (Lainey Gossip)
Today, I Learned that the little boy who played Gage in Pet Sematary was the same kid who uttered the most memorable line in Kindergarten Cop! - (EW)
Today I l… Darren Criss doesn’t give his children names that will be helpful for them in life. - (The Cut)
TIL who G-Eazy is and that Bebe Rexha thinks he’s a “stuck up ungrateful loser.” (It just makes me happy to see people spelling “loser” correctly online. The bar isn’t very high for me anymore.) - (Buzzfeed)
OH, also, today I learned that there are Competitive Excelers (as in Excel) and they have an Excel World Championship in Vegas! I don’t want to brag, but I know the word concatenate, so, you know, I’m kind of an Excel expert. (Ed. She’s not. She heard one of the financial analysts use the word once and she thought it was made up. It wasn’t.) - (The Verge)
And finally, today I learned the Monique Lhuillier Spring/Summer 2025 line is beautiful and right up my alley! I learned a lot today. I need a nap. - (GFY)
We are not a sports site, and certainly not an NBA site, but Charles Barkley crosses over. He’s an unlikely but vocal champion of trans and gay rights, and — thanks to his candidness — maybe the best broadcaster in NBA broadcast history (watch his interview with Letterman on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.). He is the best of mankind and — probably because of all the confusion surrounding NBA rights — Barkley is set to retire from broadcasting after next season. It cannot be overstated what a huge loss this is for the sport. He’s also another casualty of David Zaslav. (THR)
Princess Kate announced that she will attend the Trooping of the Colour today and released a new photo. - (PEOPLE)
Two of my favorites, Christine Baranski and Renée Elise Goldsberry starred together on CBS’s The Good Wife. Years later, the two Tony winners reflect on their parallel paths as actors before and since. - (VF)
SPERMAGEDDON! (Family friendly) - (TMS)
Chappell Roan had a moment with fans where she shared how overwhelmingly rapid fame and success was hitting her. (Glamour)
Maybe Nicola Coughlan could give Chappell some pointers. Nicola’s got this, and she says it’s because she worked in retail for years. I think everyone should have to work in retail (or restaurants) at some point in their lives; it changes you. - (Celebitchy)
I don’t think Nicola could even help with this woman’s issues. The level of cringe is… what’s above cringe? Or below it? - (GQ)
This gave me immense joy!
RONALD!
