This week Cannonball Read has recommendations for books that would make great gifts. Jen K discovered the joy of bourbon while living in Nashville and recommends Susan Reigler’s Kentucky Bourbon as an excellent history of bourbon in Kentucky and resource for touring distilleries. “Reading through this book, it is also fascinating to see how some names weave in and out of different narratives and how brands evolve, how mergers and acquisitions happen.” What has become a big interest to you recently? (Cannonball Read 17)

For 2025’s Giving Tuesday (12/2) Cannonball Read is keeping its ask small, because they know that needs are great and everyone’s resources are limited. Please consider making a donation. Any amount will help keep the lights on at Cannonball Read and continue to support the American Cancer Society. (Cannonball Read 17)

"oh, don't forget to highlight, in bright red, the two-letter word in the tagline! the two letter word that's kind of the whole point of this clever ad campaign! the two letter word that links this show to the horror movie of the same name!"
