James Gunn has officially confirmed that Milly Alcock will be the new Supergirl for his burgeoning DC Universe that is thankfully paving over the decrepit, grim-dark husk of the SnyderVerse. The House of the Dragon star’s name has been tossed around ever since casting began for the role, which will involve the solo film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow based on the Tom King graphic novel of the same name.
