As promised/threatened, Disney+ and Hulu are beginning to purge content, and one of the first shows to get the axe is Willow, the sequel series to the 1989 cult classic. It’s a pretty wild move considering Willow was granted the plum late November to December slot that’s generally reserved for The Mandalorian or its lesser spinoffs. — Looking directly at you, Boba Fett. — But it’s also not that wild considering Willow was plagued by tepid reviews. Anyway, Y: The Last Man is getting the same treatment at Hulu, and yes, I’m sad to lose a show that had the balls to make Meghan McCain the villain. You’re killing me here. (Vulture)

Stephen Spielberg’s Jaws is one of TylerDFC’s favorite movies, and he contends it is much better than the book written by Peter Benchley. “The book’s ending is the example given when you look up the word ‘anti-climactic’ in the dictionary.” Which movie do you think outshines the book it’s based on?
