Euphoria is a series about addiction. Sam Levinson, in his infinite wisdom, cast an addict in the show and thought that hiring a sober coach would be enough to get Dominik Fike through the experience. It was not. Fike continued to use drugs on the set of a show about teenagers using drugs. (I also bet he was high during that interminable song). (AV Club)
