During the season finale of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver devoted the entire episode to Elon Musk. Not only did Oliver dunk on Musk’s first year of owning Twitter, but he also highlighted the numerous government contracts that give Musk a terrifying amount of real-world power. He has his thumb in too many deeply concerning pies. There was also a litany of solid jokes, which clearly got under Elon’s skin. As always, he cried about it on Twitter and attempted to insult Oliver with weak sauce allegations of “wokeness.” Although, honestly, making a billionaire whine on Twitter that you were mean to him is the best reaction Oliver could’ve hoped for short of the federal government realizing they’re outsourcing way too much sh*t to a maniac. Seriously, what are you guys doing? (Page Six)

NatteringwPride thinks Mira Grant’s Kingdom of Needle and Bone shows she might be psychic. “Grant has done her homework and sets up a global pandemic and aftermath so realistic, I literally thought she had modeled it after COVID, instead of basically predicting it (no zombies this time…).” Have you read any books by Mira Grant, aka Seanan McGuire?
