On Tuesday, Dolly Parton’s sister freaked everybody out by asking folks to pray for the country superstar, who has been frighteningly cancelling appearances to deal with some health issues. I’m not a religious person by any means, and even I was like, “Where my prayer warriors at?” Well, good news. Turns out Dolly’s sister got a little carried away. The singer’s manager set the record straight that Dolly was simply battling an infection from her recent kidney stones procedure. But in case that didn’t calm everyone down, Dolly posted a video this morning where she playfully declared, “I ain’t dead yet!” I’m gonna be real. This is not how I expected any of this to end, but I’ll gladly take the win. We needed one. (Instagram)
