Dan Schneider Sues ‘Quiet on Set’ Producers for Defamation

Following the premiere of Quiet on Set, the damning docuseries chronicling years of toxic behavior and mistreatment toward child stars, Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider sought to get ahead of the allegations by issuing a milquetoast apology. He’s now switched gears and has sued the production team for defamation. Complicating matters is the fact that several participants in the docuseries have alleged that they weren’t told the true nature of the project and would have passed had they known Investigation Discovery was involved. So, yeah, this whole thing could get very interesting. (Variety)
