After Taylor Swift’s album announcement Wednesday night, Dustin told me I was only allowed to include two links about Taylor. Was that fair? I mean, I did turn in an entire Pajiba Love consisting of nothing but Taylor Swift puns and links and asked if we could turn the site orange for the day, so I don’t know. Maybe?
Ok, so Taylor revealed that she’s been obsessed with making bread, specifically sourdough. And she said she made a lemon blueberry sourdough, which Travis loved! My favorite thing is blueberries, and I’m also quite fond of lemon; I also rather enjoy the two combined. That said? Never ever EVER thought they went with sourdough! Now I have no choice but to try this! Have other people had fruit in sourdough? Is it sweet? Is it, you know, sour? - (Yahoo)

Alicia Silverstone is the cover star of Entertainment Weekly’s ’90s Issue. I fondly remember the days EW would come in the mail, and I would read that thing cover to cover! Everything. Every article. Every blurb. This retrospective is a fun diversion for those of us of a certain age. - (EW)
Ok, now I really am feeling old! I’ve said before that I’ve never watched reality TV. Except that’s not entirely honest. I did watch the first couple of seasons of The Real World (dear god, if we’d only known what that was going to lead to…) and I watched (and loved) the first season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. I remember being so happy for Trista and Ryan. And now… their kids are in high school! - (EOnline)

Cheerbrarian had the joyful experience of reading parts of George Orwell’s 1984, a favorite book, out loud to her 16-year-old. “He wanted to skip the ‘book within a book’ part, where Winston is reading about the revolution, I get it, I almost skipped it in the reread, it’s dry. But not on my watch, kid.” What book would you love to share with someone as they read it for the first time? (Cannonball Read 17)
