This is not a brag, believe me, but I consume an unhealthy amount of headlines and news articles every single day. Monday through Friday, it’s a freaking firehose. Because of that, I’ve watched as Bud Light recently launched what is basically an “apology tour” for giving Dylan Mulvaney a special edition can that wasn’t even on shelves. To be clear, Bud Light isn’t specifically coddling right-wing snowflakes who have been sh*tting their pants by saying they shouldn’t have done the campaign. However, the company has also refused to defend the campaign and is notably refusing to take a stance on LGBTQ rights as well. — The link back there is a prime example of the mealy-mouthed cowardice going on. — Needless to say, Mulvaney noticed, and she has now revealed in a new video that Bud Light hasn’t done a thing to support her since Republicans started hyperventilating back in April. The beer company left her to the wolves, which is some real bullsh*t. There’s no other way to cut it. (Variety)

Petr shared this one, and it sure seems like the issue here isn’t I Think You Should Leave but the fact that the writer’s boyfriend is lame as hell. Dude sounds pretty obnoxious. (GQ)

In this month’s Quick Questions with a Cannonballer, elderberrywine reveals that while she couldn’t do a Sherlock/Lord of the Rings crossover, she did write a Holmsian pastiche fanfic, ‘221B Bag End’. “It’s been a bit, but someone’s still reading it. (Bless!)” To find out why she loves the classics, read the rest of her interview. If you wrote fanfic, which fandoms would you pair with Hobbits? (Cannonball Read 15)
