Last week, PEOPLE reported that Bijou Phillips had no plans to divorce Danny Masterson after he was sentenced to 30 years in prison for two counts of rape. When it comes to celebrity reporting, PEOPLE is the gold standard, so something clearly happened in the past five days because Phillips has, in fact, filed for divorce. The consensus in the Pajiba Slack is Scientology has iced Masterson out and may have gone so far as to label him a Suppressive Person. The other possibility is, I dunno, maybe this is a money thing in case there are civil suits. The actual lawyers in the comments can disabuse me of that notion, which should be easy because I’m very dumb. It’ll be like kickboxing a toddler. (TMZ)
