Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have reportedly pulled the plug on their Hulk Hogan movie that would have seen Affleck play the former wrestler and Damon as Peter Thiel in a story based around Hogan’s infamous sex tape that brought down Gawker. However, it should be noted that the decision was made well before Hogan’s death last week, and the film “hasn’t been in development for some time.” In fairness, it’s not exactly the David and Goliath story that folks think it is once you realize Gawker basically allowed an out-of-control writer to publish revenge porn and testify in court that he’d post anything for clicks including, uh, kids. So… yeah. (TMZ)
