It’s been a long time since I’ve written about Maitland Ward, for reasons we don’t really need to get into. In a nutshell, her career went in a… different direction than her former Boy Meets World castmates, and let’s just say, they did not remain close. In fact, things were downright hostile between Ward and Danielle Fishel as evidenced by the two of them going the hell off on each other during the latest episode of Pod Meets World. (Variety)

Luigi Mangione’s ankles have caused a Victorian-esque frenzy, which is weird considering he has way more in common with Big Balls and the DOGE brigade than the online socialists worshipping his every move. (The Cut)

Tracy is starting on her Robin Hobb journey with Assassin’s Apprentice. “I had heard that Hobb writes slow-paced, character-driven books, and I was a little worried about being bored, but this book helped me realize that I have been conflating ‘slow’ and ‘boring,’ and they’re not the same.” Have you read any of Hobb’s Realm of the Elderlings books? Publisher’s Note: Pajiba would like to acknowledge the passing of James Christopher, one of the original Pajiba commenters, back when they were known as the Eloquents. Known here as Geep, he was also an admin of the Pajiba Facebook page and, along with his husband Henry (Smokin!), the heart and soul of our early commentariat nearly two decades ago. He was a tremendous person who brought so many people in this community together and survived so much only to die far too young. He was the best of us, and everyone to encounter him was lucky to share space on this planet with him (well, not everyone, because I’ve been reading old emails, and he could be delightfully vicious!). We will miss him terribly. Our condolences go to Henry, and may James’ memory be a blessing.
I’m going to include the Four Weddings and a Funeral speech here for Henry, although Geep would probably kick my ass for it.
