Just so things don’t get twisted, please know that I’m not about making light of antisemitism. To the consternation of some commenters, I’m the guy who makes it a point to call out when it happens on our side, and boy, does it. Anyway, Kanye’s juvenile tactic of putting a swastika on everything is no longer delivering the shock value he desperately needs, so he’s decided to up the ante with a particularly despicable move even for him. Not only does his new track feature Diddy, an alleged predator of women and children, it also features his 11-year-old daughter North West. Why would you do that to your child, and why do I already know the answer is a leprechaun told you to? I never once thought I’d make this argument that goes against every fiber of my being, but I think the Kardashians should be allowed to disappear a person. One very specific person, as a treat. However, that was before they got their grubby mitts on the entire government, and soon, Dudeck was rewarded for his loyalty by being named the acting commissioner. Well, surprise! My dude hates his life and is giving off ginormous “I’ve made a huge mistake” energy. (ProPublica)

As a woman approaching perimenopause, Caesar’s Wife was thrilled to read Miranda July’s All Fours. “To continue with the trainwreck theme, it struck me that the main character in All Fours is staring ahead at her life on rails and, though it’s not an unpleasant journey, it lacks the excitement of the unknown…So a derailment is not necessarily a tragedy, so much as a choice.” Do you have a favorite midlife crisis book?
