Three Trailers: The World Needs New Doctor Who,' Frank Drebin, and A24 Horror

Hey. Guess what? It’s finally time for a new season of Doctor Who! This promo is a bit flash. Doctor Who used to have the worst special effects, its most endearing characteristic. But I love that they’ve gone big for Ncuti Gatwa and Varada Sethu (Andor).

Millie Gibson and Susan Twist will return this season and be joined by Alan Cumming, Christopher Chung, Kadiff Kirwan and Charlie Condou as guest stars.

Doctor Who Season 2 begins streaming this Sunday, April 12, on Disney+.

The world could use a little Lt. Frank Drebin right about now. But we’ll have to settle for his son. The new Naked Gun is directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which, I’ll admit, was funnier than I was prepared for) and produced by Seth MacFarlane.

It stars Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand (Abigail), WWE’s Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston (Stolen).

The Naked Gun opens in theaters on August 1st.

A24 and the directors of Talk To Me are bringing us a new horror with Bring Her Back. It stars Sally Hawkins, Billy Barrat, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, and Sally-Anne Upton. Resurrection, isolated home in the middle of the forest, weird kid being weird. Annnnd then they had to go and break the circle of protection? Forget it, no one’s getting out of this one alive.

Bring Her Back will be in theaters beginning May 30

This week’s lagniappe is in no way affiliated with The Man In Black who fled across the desert. Gunslingers stars Nicolas Cage, Stephen Dorff, and Heather Graham in an action-packed Western thriller about true justice in the wild west. Sure, why not. It will be available to watch somewhere today, April 11th.
