We tried to warn you about this Robbie Williams biopic back in 2021. I am still asking why we need this movie and why he’s portrayed as a monkey chimpanzee. I hear he’s more well-known outside of the US, but has Robbie Williams secretly gotten more popular since 2021? I don’t think I can name one of his songs off the top of my head. I don’t get it. Anyway. Here’s the Better Man trailer.

Better Man stars Jonno Davis (Ben-Hur), Kate Mulvany (Hunters), Damon Herriman (Justified, The Bikeriders), and Robbie Williams.

Better Man opens in U.S. theaters on January 17th.

It’s 2024, and The Karate Kid is finally Chinese! The upcoming film, Karate Kid: Legends, ties Cobra Kai into the canon of the film franchise, and it makes the 2010 Karate Kid movie the only timeline for the franchise. That tracks Will and Jada as producers of this movie.

Karate Kid: Legends star Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, Ben Wang (American Born Chinese), Ming-Na Wen, Joshua Jackson, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Wyatt Oleff (It). It opens in theaters on May 30th.

Something about the trailer for Death of a Unicorn reminds me of Ionesco’s play Rhinoceros. But, I’m going to have to sit with that and think about it for a little while longer.

Death of a Unicorn stars Jenna Ortega, Paul Rudd, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant. It will open in theaters next Spring.

Happy Holidays! A new Wallace & Gromit movie is streaming on Netflix! Now this is what I call lagniappe.
