It’s been 15 fun, exhilarating, long, tedious, boring, excruciating, never-ending, tiresome years, but The Walking Dead franchise might just be coming to a close. The Walking Dead: Dead City with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan has been renewed for a third season, but it’s hard to imagine it will go any longer than that because JDM looks like he’s about to fall asleep on camera.
Meanwhile, today, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon announced, ahead of the third season, that it has been renewed for a fourth and (*gulp*) final season. We might actually be done before the next Presidential administration.
In the meantime, there’s also a trailer for season three of Daryl Dixon, which of course now includes Carol. And also, apparently The Office’s (UK version) Stephen Merchant, which is insane. I knew he’d been cast, but seeing him in the trailer for a The Walking Dead series is messing with my brain and my sense of wrong and right. This is wrong.
Here’s that trailer.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon returns for its third season on September 7th.
