Reddit Asks the Question: 'What’s a Sign That You’re Getting 'Old'?'

With all this talk of Sabrina Carpenter recently, it struck me that I didn’t know any of her songs. In the passive way in which you might hear a snatch of a hook or melody line here or there out in the world, maybe, but not in the way that I’d be able to link them to an artist’s name. As someone who actively follows only a few, more niche, musical genres, that’s not exactly surprising—or indeed a new development—but it still struck me extra hard for some reason this time: How little I was aware of or following the developments of this famous person’s story. I can’t lie, it did make me feel like I’d advanced another stage on the Getting Older game board. Hooray? As it happens, Reddit had this very topic on its mind the other day, when it asked the question: ‘What’s a sign that you’re getting ‘old’?’ You can check out the full thread here but below are some highlights:
