After The Breadwinner whimpered into theaters, Nate Bargatze immediately went mask off and stumbled around the White House UFC fight like some sort of MAGA Forrest Gump. He had just spent months carefully saying he’s not a political guy only to prove that anyone who says that is totally political, but self-aware enough to know that they should keep it under wraps.
Well, in an entirely predictable move, Nate is reportedly moving past his family-friendly schtick that made him a massive success on the standout circuit. His Nateland Entertainment just announced the launch of No Pictures, “a new company producing film and television that will delve into edgier genres and stories more suited for older audiences.”
While I just assumed Nate would stay arms-length away from anything that uses words stronger than “darn,” he’s already full steam ahead on some pretty spicy stuff. Hold on to your butts.

Currently, Nateland is in pre-production on Nateville, an adult animated series for Netflix that sources have equated to Bargatze’s King of the Hill. Nateland is producing alongside Tornante, with Streeter Seidel and Mikey Day exec producing alongside showrunner Halsted Sullivan.
What does any of this mean? Well, for starters, I’m guessing roller coasters cost way more than Nate realized, and if he wants to open an amusement park, he’s going to need more than Mr. Mom rehashes to bring in eyeballs.
I’m also reminded of Nate’s May 2025 interview with Esquire where he confessed that he was very tempted to go the “cancelled” comedian route, but ultimately chose not to pursue those riches. Riches that would not be available to him unless he had views that would get him cancelled. Are we about to learn what those views are? This certainly looks like a start unless we’re about to witness a very expensive foray into fart jokes. Your guess is as good as mine here.
