I friggin love Tiny Desk concerts, man. One of my absolute favorites is one that Sesame Street did a few years ago. I’ve watched/listened to it with my kids a hundred times, and it never disappoints. But that is certainly only the tip of the iceberg. And you know why you’re here right now. You saw the headline. One of my absolute favorite people in the world has returned to The Tiny Desk, and it will probably replace the Sesame Street one as my kids’ favorite!

Weird Al has done Tiny Desk before, and it’s spectacular. I’ll drop that one in here as well, because while you could absolutely get a hit of Al from listening to the new one, why not up the dosage?! It also helps that they have two different vibes. Last visit, Al played original songs, and that was all the way back in 2010! A lot has changed since then, so you can also find yourself taking a nice little trip down memory lane.

But today, Al’s concert includes some of his classic parodies (though I guess that depends on who you ask, as all of them were released in 1999 or later), including eBay, The Saga Begins, and Skipper Dan, the latter of which is more of a parody of Weezer’s style (apt, given that their new album releases soon). Al and his band also perform Now You Know, the fantastically insane end-credits song from his equally fantastically insane biopic.

I’ve got a lot of work staring me in the face today, and I want to be able to watch this with my kids, so I’ll be saving it for this afternoon. Don’t be like me. Click that button now and kickstart your day with some Weird Al goodness. We all deserve it, dagnabbit.
