Notwithstanding his marriage to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 to 2017, Justin Theroux strikes me as the consummate bachelor type—a guy who loves hanging out with his bros. I mostly get this impression from listening to the SmartLess podcast, where Jason Bateman and Will Arnett always seem envious of his lifestyle. But they’re also too exhausted to try to live it themselves. They just admire it from afar.

Perhaps, however, Theroux got tired of admiring their lives from afar. After realizing that most of his similarly aged friends are too busy with their spouses and families to man-about-town with him, he has also decided to settle down. For now.

The 53-year-old The Leftovers actor married Nicole Brydon Bloom, 30, over the weekend. The two have been engaged since August and were first photographed together in February 2024. They tied the knot in Mexico, and TMZ has some fuzzy, low-quality photos, probably captured by an invasive helicopter, if you’re into that sort of thing. Having been in a highly public relationship before, Theroux has stated that he now prefers to keep this one private.

For those unfamiliar, Nicole Brydon Bloom plays a Secret Service agent in Hulu’s Paradise—a pivotal role in the series. She also portrays Maud Beaton in the second season of The Gilded Age. Honestly, if you didn’t know it was the same person, you might never have guessed.

(Fun fact: Bloom is the daughter of late journalist David Bloom, an NBC correspondent who tragically passed away while covering the Iraq War in 2003. You can see the resemblance.)
