Joe Rogan Backs Spencer Pratt for LA Mayor Because Everything Is Dumb

If you don’t know who Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are, my deepest congratulations. You are living a rich, full life. I, on the other hand, wasted years chronicling these two vapid husks as they did everything in their power to desperately milk every last drop of their meager reality TV fame. We’re talking staged photo shoots, faking a sex tape rumor, cozying up to Sarah Palin, you name it. At one point, Heidi was on a speed-run to become the most plastic woman alive, and quite frankly, she may have done it. If her body is ever exhumed by future generations, I guarantee it looks exactly the same. Just dust it off and stand it in the yard. It will be like she never left us.

Anyway, Spencer managed to strike attention gold when the couple reportedly lose their home in the Palisades fires. He demanded answers from government officials, which earned him enough juice to launch a mayoral campaign earlier this year. He’s looking to unseat current LA Mayor Karen Bass, and Pratt has already picked up an endorsement from a man who loves to see brain-melted reality stars win elections: Joe Rogan.

During his recent appearance on Rogan’s podcast, Pratt opened up about why he decided to throw his hat in the 2026 L.A. mayoral race. After, that’s when the host said, “Listen, man, I’m voting for you.”

However, Rogan, who left California for Texas in 2020, clarified, “[Well] I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you. I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, no question whatsoever, I would vote for you.”

Pratt was clearly elated to get the influential and controversial podcaster’s support. He wrote on Facebook after, “An honor being on with the GOAT, @joerogan. My goal is to make LA so awesome, we can win him back from Texas.”

At this point, you’d just assume Joe Rogan would be more careful with who he backs for office, but thinking has never been his strong suit. As for why people shouldn’t vote for Pratt besides him being the shadiest reality TV star this side of Tom Sandoval, here’s his own sister warning the city of Los Angeles that a vote for Spencer is a “vote for stupidity.”

After her posts urging people not to vote for Spencer inspired backlash, Stephanie also shared allegations of an alleged assault that occurred when she was 18, writing: “Everyone saying I should support him no matter what. Sorry he beat me up when I was 18 & put me in the hospital. So no he doesn’t belong in the government. Run the palisades all you want not LA.”

She also alleged that he got her “hooked” on drugs. “Almost forgot how it all started - he’s the one who got me hooked on hard core drugs at 15,” she claimed on X. “I’ve kept this all a secret for years. He also had a hidden drug addiction. Now do you get he shouldn’t be running LA. Thank you. Amen.”
