Two years ago, a DeuxMoi blind item suggested that someone who had won several Golden Globes the night before was being cheated on by his wife, who was sleeping with an actor/director she met through her female best friend, who was working on that director’s film. Here’s the less convoluted version of what I just said:
It wasn’t too hard to piece that together at the time (and I spent some time in an Instagram rabbit hole verifying), and while I’m not officially stating that this has anything to do with the above blind item, ahem, I am saying that Addison Timlin—the ex-wife of Jeremy Allen White, who won several Golden Globes two years ago last month—is now Instagram official with Cooper Raiff.
Yes, I know—you’re like, who the hell is Cooper Raiff, and why should I care? He directed a movie called Cha Cha Real Smooth, starring Dakota Johnson, who also happens to be Addison Timlin’s best friend and the godmother to Timlin and Jeremy Allen White’s children. This information is available on Timlin’s Instagram.
Timlin is actually starring in Raiff’s next project, Hal and Harper, which premiered at Sundance last month. It stars Raiff, Lili Reinhart (from Riverdale), Mark Ruffalo, and Betty Gilpin. This image of Ruffalo and Gilpin has convinced me that maybe this is already my favorite show of 2025.
Ow. I think I just felt my heart ache. Reviews so far have been rapturous (then again, most reviews out of Sundance are). Anyway, if going Instagram official is Raiff and Timlin’s attempt to promote their new project, well, it’s working on me at least.
