Aimee Lou Wood Can't Wait To Watch Walton Goggins on 'SNL' (Come Again?)

A few weeks back, Aimee Lou Wood rightly took offense to an SNL sketch mocking her teeth. It was bad enough that both the show and cast member Sarah Sherman apologized to The White Lotus star. However, Walton Goggins loved the sketch, which only added more fuel to the rumors that he and Wood have been locked in a bitter feud.

Things have, uh… things have changed on that front.

Not only have Wood and Goggins started following each other on Instagram again, but during Monday night’s MET Gala, Wood had nothing but praise for his upcoming appearance on SNL.

“I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever,” Wood told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s going to be incredible doing SNL. It’s the perfect thing for him to do. It’s going to be hilarious. I’m so excited to see it.”

As for whether Wood will make a surprise appearance during Goggins’ SNL episode, she initially played coy before saying, “I’m not doing that.” So I’d categorize that as up in the air.

This about-face is a surprising development on the heels of Goggins shutting down an interview because a reporter wouldn’t keep bringing up the alleged feud. (In Goggins’ defense, he was trying to promote his wife’s film, not stir White Lotus gossip.) In the aftermath, the two started following each other on Instagram again, which was the source of this whole circus.

However, Goggins was also at the MET Gala last night, and the former co-stars notably did not interact. According to the New York Post, Wood only posed for photos with Patrick Schwarzenegger, which is an interesting wrinkle. Read into that whatever you want, and I’m seriously encouraging you to do that. It’s better than tearing your hair out over movie tariffs or doll shortages or whatever nightmares are coming down the pipe. Milk is $40 a gallon and comes with smallpox now? Sure, why not?
