The White Lotus on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Third season finale. I honestly think the worst thing about The White Lotus is the set-up as a murder mystery instead of just letting it be a character study that always happens to end with a death. But I guess you have to give people a reason to tune in and the chance to “solve” the mystery helps with that, even though the first season wasn’t a premeditated event and the second season WAS a premeditated event that went drastically wrong and ended up in self-defense and accidental death. I guess we’ll see what happens this time!
