The 82nd Annual Golden Globes on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Three-hour special presentation. Nikki Glaser is hosting tonight. I was a little curious who is actually voting on these, given that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association dissolved in 2023. The awards are now owned and operated by Dick Clark Productions. It is unclear to me how nominations and/or voting happen, but they sure will hand out awards based on some kind of criteria!
Vanished in Death Valley on Lifetime at 8:00pm ET. Original telefilm. It sure sounds like this is a humans vs. nature film but since it’s on Lifetime I’ll assume the real villain is, in fact, a human.
The Agency on Showtime at 9:00pm ET.
Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches on AMC at 9:00pm ET. Second season premiere. Alas, this seems to be the neglected child of the Anne Rice universe on AMC. I guess it’s hard to beat gay vampire relationship drama spanning centuries.
Dexter: Original Sin on Showtime at 10:00pm ET.
