The First Official Full Length Trailer for '28 Years Later' Does Not Mess Around

The marketing folks have been doing a fantastic job with the 28 Years Later teasers, but now, the first official trailer has arrived. It’s good. Danny Boyle returns as director and co-writer, alongside Alex Garland, with a cast that includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes, and Emma Laird.

“It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected,” the official description reads. “One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected, but other survivors as well.”

Let’s just say that the infected are not f**king around.

28 Years Later hits theaters on June 20th.
