It’s a story of boy meets girl, where the boy is a budding killer and the girl is a wrathful runaway. And it’s coming to Netflix on Friday.

Based on Charlie Covell’s heralded graphic novels, The End of the F***ing World is an eight-episode series that follows self-proclaimed psychopath James, played by Alex Lawther, who you might remember from the unnerving Black Mirror episode “Shut Up and Dance.” James is looking for his first kill when he meets Alyssa (Jessica Barden from Penny Dreadful), a caustic, cursing classmate who is totally over basically everything.

Are you uncomfortable yet? Great. Check out the trailer for The End of the F***ing World.

Per the official plot synopsis: “The two embark on a roadtrip to find a better life, and escape the impending doom of adulthood. As their chaotic journey unfolds, it becomes apparent that James and Alyssa have crossed a line and have no choice but to take it as far as they can…”

The End of the F***ing World hits Netflix January 5th.

Are you on board for this dark comedy road trip? Or have you had your fill of burgeoning psychopaths and teen angst? Sound off in comments.
